I painted this out in nature, plein air, at Beasley Flats down by the river in Camp Verde, Arizona. The day was magical! The snowy egrets were flying down the river and perching in the trees. What a glorious sight! For being in the desert, it felt so tropical. And the mountain before me was like a mosaic in all its forms and colors in the sun.
