The scene is a favorite hiking trail on Boston Hill in Silver City, New Mexico. I took the photo while hiking and painted it from the photo in the studio. I painted two versions of the same photo. The first one I painted in "local" colors with blue sky. This one is the second version with an intuitive color palette. I think it's perfect for you.

Hanging the painting

I painted around the sides as I was painting it so you don't need to frame it. The back has a wire hanger - all ready to hang!
