The inspiration for this painting was a field that I often see on my daily walks. The colors have sparked my imagination since the Spring when the colors were fresh and vibrant. Now, they are changing to darker hues. Various plant life is scattered in this field adding to the wild drama playing out in the desert landscape.

When the soul lies down in that grass,
The world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase each other
Doesn't make any sense.
