My Process

I was searching for non-petroleum-based media to work with. I experimented using watercolor, graphite pencil, colored pencil, soft pastel, and methylcellulose. It's quite a messy and finicky process but I ended up loving the result. I did a whole series of these small works on paper using this method. 

The scene here is made up from the idea of a landscape and following my intuition as I went along with the process of developing a picture.
